David Solomont is an experienced investor, advisor and entrepreneur who has been working in different industries, such as software, technology, media, gaming, and transportation, for over 40 years.

This professional is highly specialized at entrepreneurship, e-commerce, business development, strategic planning, and venture capital.

Solomont started working with computers while he was studding in the Tufts University in the early 70’s. He graduated and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. After receiving his Master’s Degree in Management from the MIT’s Sloan School, Solomont founded his first company Business and Professional Software, Inc. in 1980. The company developed graphics software for the Apple II. Moreover, this company introduced a series of presentation software products for Apple computers and for MS-DOS.

In the e the mid 90’s, Solomont began his career in angel and early stage investing in technology companies. In 1998, he founded one of the first institutionalized angel groups in the USA, named Common Angels. Until 1994, Solomont served as company’s CEO.

In the course of his career, Solomont has held a number of job positions in wide variety of companies.

In 2015, ev Transportation Services, Inc ("evTS") was founded by Solomont. To date, he is its Chairman and CEO. evTS designs, develops and manufactures utility vehicles, which are all-electric, lightweight, and commercial. The FireFly ESV Electric Vehicle is company’s main product.

Solomont also dedicates on advising companies on business development, funding, mergers and acquisitions, and team building.
